In this world, every individual needs someone to help them succeed even more in life, someone who can work with his strengths and provide help with his weaknesses. In other words, someone who can push him to be the best For example, Michael Jordan needed every bit of Scottie Pippen to be able to win six titles. Jordan clearly had the talent of a legend but he could not do things on his own for a long period. Getting help from someone to be on top is not a sign of being weak but rather it is a sign that a person realizes that he cannot do it all.

Mark Antman was already a talented individual in the world of photography. He was doing part time work as photographer in several journals while studying biology and chemistry in New York University. Combining those three spells trouble but he was able to do so and succeeded in it. In the photography competitions that he was joining, he was winning majority of those which boosted his credentials even more as well as his skills. He also worked in France where he became a successful documentary journalist. He was making a name for himself but something was lacking. As a solo photographer, Mark Antman had greatness written all over him but he still had that missing piece that could make him great.

Antman found it in one of the competitions that he joined. In that contest, he met Alan Carey who is also an enthusiast of photography. In an instant, they became friends mainly because of their passion for art. The interest of the two in photography kept their friendship up to now. Meeting Carey made Antman a much better person and also a better photographer. Soon enough, the two became business partners. They built Image Works in 1983 wherein it was only a picture house at that time before becoming a full time photo studio.

Carey was the Scottie Pippen of Mark Antman. Without Carey, Antman would have been only a good photographer that wasn’t able to fully develop his talent. He would have not been a popular figure in the world of photography if not for Carey. With his business partner, Antman became a great photographer and a very popular one.

Almost everything that Antman enjoys today is because he found that someone that would push him to greatness, that someone that would work with his strengths.
